Then there were 4

At just after 6.30 this morning, little LJ arrived safely into the world.

After a lot of waiting around, he suddenly arrived in a rush and a frenzy meaning there was a sudden and almost surreal calm after he arrived.

As he lay sleeping on S1, I sat in awe staring at his tiny left hand which was tightly holding my finger.

In that moment, I felt like we are a complete family at last.

When CJ arrived, my life felt like it had been turned upside down in the best possible way. This time with LJ, I feel like life is just that much more complete.

I'm not as stressed this time around.
When he cries, I know he'll be ok.
When he wont sleep, I know it's only going to be short lived.

All of this has made it much easier to just enjoy the experience, to just sit and hold him in my arms and enjoy his company.

I had a hard time choosing what single photo would capture this remarkable day. There are better photos of just him, but this is how I will remember the day.

The glow of my beautiful and confident wife, with the softness of newborn LJ and that amazing proud grin of his big brother.

CJ wore this amazing proud smile all day long.

And I am wearing a matching one.
